19/06/2023 - 27/06/2023 In the second week,I took the continuation of the chapter Area for 9A2 and Equal triangles in 8A5.Activity based models, Inquiry training model and module are used in this week.Students were interested in this model and also students were very active with new models of teaching.Students got clear ideas through showing the models and through activies given by activity sheet. They tried to construct their own knowledge. Proper introduction and closure of class was done in all classes. Students were willing to ask doubts regarding the topic and I was able to clear all doubts.9A2 students were able to use geometric instruments through this chapter.In this week our optional teacher came for observation and gave more instructions for us. As per B Ed curriculum of forth semester, we had started our second phase teaching practice from 12th June 2023 Monday.We were excited to be back to Govt V & H SS parassala. I got to teach Mathematics in 8 A5 and 9 A2. The concerned teachers assigned me to take the 1st chapter in both classes.On the first class pupils showed great interest to learn the lesson and I used models and activity cards to increase their interest. I started Equal triangles in 8A5 and Area in 9A2. In 9A2 and 8A5 the class was done through activity based and the students were very actively participated in the class.The topic I handled for 9A2 students was Area and for 8A5 was Equal triangles.I was more confident in the classes than phase I of teaching practice. I was satisfied with my classes in the first week. After each class I was able to understand my strength and weakness.
